Niko Hulkenberg has been nominated to replace Alex Elbon in Red Bull Racing for next season. Officially, nothing has yet been announced, but the German racer posted a video on his Instagram story, which, if desired, can be interpreted as a hint of a possible contract.

In the short video, Niko plows the land with a cultivator. It would seem that it is a common activity for an amateur gardener, but attention is drawn to the fact that the cultivator is a Honda brand, and in the caption to the video there is the phrase “Trying a new technique” and a winking smile.

In the world of Formula 1, the coincidence of such coincidences is hard to believe, so this is either a hint of an imminent announcement of the contract, or Niko is rather subtly poking fun at the rumor lovers.
