Samsung is preparing to launch three new flagships of the Galaxy S series. We still do not know if they will go on the market with the Galaxy S21 nomenclature or as Galaxy S30 but the consensus of leaks indicates that there will be a standard model, another Plus and an Ultra model. Well, the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra would have a five-fold camera according to renders.
In the past few days the most powerful of the next Samsung flagship cell phones posed in renderings of the leaker @OnLeaks with a huge rectangular compartment that would extend to hug its right side edge – from a frontal perspective. In those renders, his dorsal camera was quadruple. But it could actually be fivefold.
The back of the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra would have an unidentified sensor
The leaker Steve Hommerstoffer posted on the portal Voice An updated render of what the rear design of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra would actually look like, the next flagship ultra premium from the South Korean company.
He points out that the important thing in this new image is to notice the presence of a mysterious sensor inside the rectangular compartment.
Steve Hommerstoffer admits the possibility that what we are actually looking at is a quintuple camera module, but that the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra or Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is even more likely to actually have a quad-lens camera on its back. and that this is crowned by a fifth sensor of unidentified capacity.
Speculation points to two clear candidates: a ToF sensor for the classic effect bokeh of the best quality or even a new autofocus sensor that reflects the quality of a premium smartphone such as this one. But perhaps Samsung has a sensor that emulates the LiDAR system of the iPhone in its hands.
For now, what it seems is that the Samsung Galaxy S30 Ultra would have a five-fold camera and that it would thus join the select club of the Nokia 9 PureView, Huawei Mate 40 Pro + and Huawei Mate 40 RS Porsche Design that, until now, are the only devices with five lens cameras.
