The German international Joshua Kimmich, 25, is going to be a father for the second time. His club, FC Bayern Munich, made this public on Twitter. The soccer star and his partner Lina Meyer are expecting a child.

Before the game against Arminia Bielefeld, FC Bayern tweeted that Kimmich would not play: “Joshua #Kimmich is out today. He stayed in Munich, his girlfriend is expecting the second child.” Kimmich and Meyer’s first child was born in June 2019.

Joshua Kimmich: Wonderful everyday life at home

In an interview with the Munich “Abendzeitung” in April, Kimmich said: “A child gives life a completely different content, a completely new task is there.” Before that, his career was particularly important to him, “now I have another job. That makes it easier for me in this crisis because I have a wonderful everyday life at home.”
