Canada’s Corey Conners scored a hole-in-one in the third round of the Masters in Augusta, Georgia on Saturday.
Conners followed the seventh hole in the seventh birdie game of the day but he did commit the fifth pennant. His return trip was pierced by two birdies and many bogeys, which gave him a 68 (-4) card.
The Canadian ranks sixth after 54 holes with a cumulative score of 210 (-6).
Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama scored an outstanding performance of 65 (-7) and took the lead easily with an -11 lead.
After two rounds of lead, England’s Justin Rose won a par 72 for the second day in a row. He is still tied for second place with Americans Xander Sc Chaudele and Will Zaloris and Australian Marc Leishman in the top four.
This weekend, another Canadian player, Mackenzie Hughes, played par in the first three rounds. He tied for 21st place.
