The ninth generation of the Moto G series of Motorola It already has two inputs: the Moto G9 Plus and the Moto G9 Play. Three if we want to consider that the Moto G9 Play was announced in India as a dry Moto G9. But before the end of 2020 there is time for a third -or fourth- member as Motorola announces the Motorola Moto G9 Power.
We will immediately notice that the Motorola Moto G9 Power design looks like a hybrid of the Moto G9 Plus and Moto G9 Play designs. But it differs from both with technical specifications that place it below the Moto G9 Plus but clearly above the Play model.
Features of the Motorola Moto G9 Power
From a design perspective the Motorola Moto G9 Power looks like a hybrid between the Moto G9 Plus and the Moto G9 Play. From the first of these it extracts its frontal appearance: a huge 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + image resolution with an aspect ratio of 20.5: 9 and with a 16MP camera embedded in its upper left corner.
When turning the Moto G9 Power we find a triple camera grouped in a 2×2 grid format next to its LED flash inside a square compartment positioned against the upper left corner. This last detail is what distinguishes it from the Moto G9 Play but the compartment and the way of nuclear the lenses of its multi-camera are the same.
However, the triple camera of the Moto G9 Power also has a 64MP main sensor like the Moto G9 Plus. Only its sensor would be different. It is a Samsung sensor that has so far only appeared on the LG K92 5G.
For the rest, the Motorola Moto G9 Power is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor accompanied by 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage capacity expandable by up to 512GB via microSD card and a 6000mAh battery that would have access to a fast charge of up to 20W of power.
Motorola advertises the Motorola Moto G9 Power in a single purple color and priced at € 200 (approximately US $ 235). So even before we can see the rumored Moto G10 Play announced, the Moto G9 Power is possibly saying goodbye to the ninth generation Moto G at the end of this chaotic 2020.
