With this new brand, ViacomCBS seeks to make the name of Paramount, one of the most iconic studios in Hollywood history, can compete with big name services like Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV, among others.

It will have the extensive catalog of Paramount Pictures, made up of 30 thousand films, in addition to the content produced by the company’s channels: CBS, BET, Comedy Central, MTV y Nickelodeon, among others.

“Paramount is an iconic and storied brand, loved by consumers around the world, and is synonymous with world-class quality, integrity and storytelling,” said Bob Bakish, president and CEO of ViacomCBS, in a press release.

This is good news for Argentine streaming users, since Latin America tends to be one of the last regions to receive this type of service every time a platform is launched.
