Goodall said: “We have passionate enthusiasts in several markets.” We have a historical connection with Canada. We have a few amateurs, and our desire is to serve as much as possible. Obviously, we have a limited number of games, but Canada is a very important market. “
If the Quebec metropolis is to host certain games, the Olympic Stadium can serve as the home stadium of the NFL. The strength of the Montreal entity has made it possible to host some large-scale sports events here in recent years, including the Women’s Football World Cup and the CF Montreal in the CONCACAF Champions League.
Alain Larochelle, Vice President of Operations and Commercial Development of Olympic Park, said: “We have always been open to the idea of hosting sports events at the Montreal Olympic Stadium. We have a rich history in North American football, especially with the Canadian Football League (CFL), the Grey Cup and the Montreal Trumpet League.
“North American football also has the largest sports crowd record in the Olympic Stadium so far. This confirms our and Quebec’s interest in this sport. We will be very interested in hosting NFL games and look forward to showing our future investment.”
The NFL schedule has recently changed, which will allow the team to play another regular season, which will allow more duels outside of the United States. Each of these 32 teams will participate in at least one of the games within 8 years.
The NFL is no stranger to these games in the neutral region, and has held games in Mexico and Europe in recent years. Canada also hosted several games, and the “Buffalo Bills” went to Toronto’s Rogers Center once a year from 2008 to 2013, where they played.
