Earlier this Monday, the Montreal Center Khem Birch, released by the Orlando Magic, reached an agreement with the Toronto Raptors.
“Thank you for the organization, management, my teammates, coaches and fans of the Orlando Magic. Over the past 3.5 years, this has been incredible. I have nothing to say about what Orlando City means to me and my family. I am very grateful. I am very excited that the Raptors have a new chapter in their career.”
The 28-year-old has played 48 games with the Magic this season. He averaged 5.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Florida training is used for nearly 20 minutes each time.
Birch can play his first game in Sunday’s game against the Raptors against the New York Knicks.
He will be succeeded by Jamaal Magloire, Cory Joseph, Anthony Bennett, Oshae Brissett and Chris · The sixth Canadian after Chris Boucher in a Raptors uniform.
