Former System 1 driver Mika Salo has been recruited by the FIA to play the function of third steward of the Sahir Grand Prix.
Along with him, the controversial factors will probably be examined by FIA World Council member Gary Conelli and System 3 steward Loic Bucklen.
This 12 months, the invited stewards had been: Vitantonio Liuzzi in Austria and the seventieth Grand Prix, Emanuele Pirro in Styria, Nice Britain, Spain and the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Derek Warwick in Hungary, Turkey and the Eifel Grand Prix, Johnny Herbert in Belgium, Tom Christensen – in Italy, Mika Salo – in Tuscany, Russia and Bahrain, Vitaly Petrov and Bruno Correia – in Portugal.
