French boxer Christian Mbilli defeated the Mexican Jesus Antonio Gutierrez Medilli at the Western Military Academy in New York on Thursday.
“I’m very satisfied with my performance. It’s amazing! I just sent a message to other super middleweight people around the world. I’m ready for anyone,” Mbili said after the fight.
“I am proud of Christian’s outstanding performance,” said Camille Estephan, president of Tiger Management.
“He has shown outstanding skills and we know that Christian wants to face the best situation. Therefore, we will continue to work hard to find the best opportunity for him so that he can win the world championship title.”
Mbili was originally scheduled to face Ivgen Chitloff in Puerto Rico in March, but the Ukrainians signed COVID-19 and the fight was cancelled.
In the final duel in December 2020, Mbili defeated Mexico’s Rolando Paredes with K.-O. Technical.
