SKI/OSLO (VG) received a lot of relief at a tried and tested trading post in Viken on Monday. Gro Collett, a relaxed center manager at Ski Storsenter, can open the door again.
When VG visited Ski Storsenter this Thursday, this sentiment weakened. Then, they are still waiting for the government to make a decision on the level of measures taken by the city of Nordre Follo.
Later in the day, it was obvious
Out of 51 cities in Viken County, only four Starting from Monday, the operation will continue at the highest level.
Therefore, when VG called on Sunday (the day before the Nordre Follo shopping mall reopened), it was a assured center manager who answered the call.
-This is a great comfort for everyone. Gro Collett said that we found out on Friday and many people spent the entire weekend preparing the store, adding:
When the municipality changes from level A to level B, shops, shopping centers and department stores can again remain open. The restaurant can also be open, but pouring is not allowed.
Since March 16, the entire Viken population has exceeded 1.2 million, and its living standards have been below the A-level standard, which is the most stringent standard of the government.
For Ski Storsenter, these measures lasted longer:
The municipality of Nordre Follo was the first place in Norway where a large-scale outbreak of a mutant virus occurred. It started operations on January 22 and then closed the store in the country’s tenth largest shopping mall.
-We reopened on February 18 Before we have to close again on March 16. Now, many stores are facing a real crisis. Well-run stores have used up all their equity and saved money to pay for the ordered items until they closed on March 16. They haven’t sold out their collections yet, and don’t have any income. But the invoice came. When VG visited on Thursday, the center manager said that now they must start over and regain revenue.
Collett said on Sunday:
-From a purely financial point of view, this is a disaster for the store. It was a disaster to be closed for several weeks. We are always worried about whether someone is doing a bad job. Now, we have the opportunity to make up for some of the lost people.
Ski Storsenter has a turnover of 2 billion by 2020 and has 140 stores and restaurants. In recent weeks, the center manager Collett has entered the underground, which includes a large grocery store, flower shop, health food and Vinmonopolet. There are some shops on the floors where more impulsive transactions are conducted.
