In Rhode Island, Burrillville and Foster could get up to four inches of snow, while Providence is likely to receive two inches. In New Hampshire and Maine, a winter storm watch is in effect, with heavy snow and mixed precipitation expected. The northern and interior areas of New Hampshire and Maine could see up to a foot of snow. Wind gusts could reach up to 45 miles per hour.
Drivers in the region are urged to use extra caution as roads are likely to become slick and hazardous. The storm is likely to have minor impacts in Massachusetts, but could have more severe impacts in New Hampshire and Maine. Residents are advised to stay up to date with the latest weather forecasts.
