A man was arrested last Wednesday for the murder of a male who was listed as missing for more than two months and whose skeletal remains were found on November 8 in the north of Berlin. An investigation that remains open because there is a suspicion that it is a case of cannibalism.
And, as the German newspaper Berliner Morgenpost indicates based on police sources, the suspect, 41 years old and a mathematics teacher, I was participating in a chat about cannibalism. An indication that the detainee killed his victim and then possibly ate parts of his body, which would explain that the bones were found without any remains of meat.
The homicide division of the Regional Office of Criminal Investigation (LKA) found the suspect, accused of sexual murder, after analyzing various internet chat groups and detecting that the man and the victim had chatted via a dating platform.
The agents they found traces of blood at the suspect’s home of the 44-year-old victim, who was listed as missing since last September 5, when he was last seen by his roommates when he left the apartment around midnight.
