Musician and actress Maja Posavec brings a new piece of music inspired by her work on the play It would be a shame for the plants to die Ivor Martinić in which he acts together with his colleague Pavle Vrkljan, and in the production of the independent theater KunstTeatar and T25.

Single Plants talks about breaking up a love affair and presents Maja in a new music release. About the new single Maja says:

“I wrote something in hip hop-rnb style, but in my own way. I used the text from the play, parts of the monologue and dialogue that intertwined in the song. I have never combined my two professions of music and acting in this way before. ”

The song announces Maja’s second solo album, which she is finishing in the studio with producer Višeslav Laboš:

“The album is in its final stages. Each song is a world unto itself, stylistically different, yet connected by lyrics and voice. My interest in music is expanding in some new directions, so the album will include songs that were at that crossroads, ”revealed Maja.

The video was shot in the KunstTeatr, and it features props from numerous successful performances by this independent theater. The video features performers and friends of the theater: Pavle Vrkljan, Bernard Tomić, Anna Javoran, Domagoj Janković, Matija Čigir, Andreja Jandrić, Marina Redžepović.

The video is directed by Maja herself, about which she says:

“It was wonderful and at the same time scary to be the director of the video. I had the exact idea of how I would like the video to look, and talented colleagues and friends helped me develop and upgrade that idea, for which I am immensely grateful. “
