In this sense, the head of the FIGC prosecutor’s office, Giuseppe Chinè, requested the summary of the investigation from those responsible for the University of Perugia, where the Uruguayan soccer player carried out the process to obtain dual citizenship.
According to the first investigations, the former Barcelona striker would have previously agreed on the questions to obtain the passport and even the score would have been assigned before the test was carried out.

To complete the scene, another of the interlocutors resigned: “Tell me what grade to give him and that’s it.” Phrases are also heard such as “if you do not pass, they put a bomb on us” and “we have prepared you well, you are memorizing part of the exam.”
The lawyer for the rector of the University, David Brunello, assured in an interview published today in the newspaper “La Stampa” that “Luis Suárez’s exam was carried out with regularly and without any favoritism“.
