A very special teen movie, based on a novel by Julia Walton, will arrive at the cinema on December 3. It’s called What you don’t see, with Charlie Plummer and Taylor Russell, and the Italian trailer has just arrived.
It will arrive in cinemas on December 3rd with 01 Distribution What you don’t see, directed by Thor Freudenthal and based on the novel of the same name (original title “Words on a Bathroom Walls”) of Julia Walton which will be published in Italy by Sperling & Kupfer on November 24th.
About the film, which speaks differently about mental illness and which we show you the italian trailer, two young and talented actors are the protagonists, Charlie Plummer (All the money in the world) e Taylor Russell, joined in the cast by Andy Garcia, AnnaSophia Robb e Beth Grant.
This is the official plot:
Adam is a bright but introverted teenager with a dream of becoming a chef. He suffers from visual hallucinations and lives surrounded by imaginary friends who show up at inopportune moments. Expelled in the middle of his senior year of high school due to an accident during his chemistry class, he moves to a private school to finish the year. Adam has little hope of being able to adapt and would just like to keep his constant visions a secret until he graduates and can enroll in cooking college. But when she meets Maya, outspoken and tremendously intelligent, she sets up an instant understanding that she can’t resist. As their romance becomes more important, she pushes him to open his heart and not shut himself off in his condition. Thanks to the love and support of both his girlfriend and family, Adam struggles for the first time to get out of the tunnel and face the challenges that await him.
