Leuven Bears has strengthened itself for next season with the Slovenian center Ziga Fifolt (2m11) and the Belgian forward Thibault Vanderhaegen (2m04).
The 27-year-old Fifolt comes from the Slovenian KRKA Novo Mesto. There he averaged 4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 12 minutes of playtime.
The 22-year-old Vanderhaegen, an Ostend youth product, comes from the Dutch Den Helder. There he was good for an average of 13 points and 4.7 rebounds last season. He is a Belgian youth international at the U18 / U20. In 2018 he became champion with DUVA Gistel, the second team of Filou Oostende, in second national.
Leuven previously extended the contracts of Hugh Robertson, Brandan Stith, Joshua Heath, Seppe D’Espallier, Luka Kotrulja, Joris Fauconnier and Jonas Delalieux. The Leuveners have now completed their selection for next season.
