After the trial of the former employee lasted for three days, Kryptovault AS reached a settlement with the former employee over the weekend.
Therefore, the trial will be postponed the day before the lawsuit in Stavanger District Court on Monday.
The dispute between Kryptovault and the person who left the company in 2019 was mentioned earlier.
The man was asked to request 4 million Swedish kronor from his former employer, plus legal fees. The company believes that the man committed infidelity by downloading confidential company information to his personal computer, and that the information has been provided to outsiders.
Fredrik Wildhagen, the LO lawyer representing the defendant, and Mira Tengesdal Torstenbø, the lawyer of Arntzen de Besche who led the Kryptovault AS case, would not comment on the content of the settlement.
The defendant may agree to pay Kryptovault’s money in the settlement. Therefore, he avoided the district court’s ruling on the charges against him.
