On Tuesday, Lukko, who leads the Finnish Championship League, lost ugly to KooKoo in Kouvola, but on Wednesday the people of Rauma were back on their own level and bell-ringed the jumbo team SaiPan in Lappeenranta with goals 4–1.
Toni Koivisto struck Luko ‘s opening goal in less than three minutes, and Daniel Audette increased the leadership of the Rauma team right at the beginning of the second installment.
Elmeri Kaksonen the 1-2 reduction made by the transferred penalty kept SaiPan numerically in the game.
The final odor gap lock ruptured towards the end of the final batch when Pavol Skalicky finished with overwhelming readings 1-3. Just 16 seconds later Eetu Koivistoinen took Luko into the lead by three goals with his seventh hit of the season. Thus, Luko’s victory was recorded with 4-1 goals.
Lukko, who has collected 24 points, has won eight of his 10 games and leads the Champions League by three points to Ilves. SaiPa is the last in the series with five points after winning one of his nine games.
In Mikkeli, 1,154 spectators witnessed the Jukuri’s surprising 2–1 victory over Tappara.
After two paintless batches Valtteri Kemiläinen took Tappara to the lead in 49.40, but Kristian Afanasjev and Otto Mäkinen turned the game to the Jukuri in just over a minute.
Sami Rajaniemi defeated Jukuri’s goal 33 times after collecting 11 defenses in each round.
With the defeat, Tappara fell to number seven in the league table. Jukurit is in 13th place with eight points.
