Mexico, United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Singapore, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, China, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Australia will be the countries where Prime Day 2020 will be celebrated, however For the first time in their history, Turkey and Brazil join Amazon’s largest bargain celebration.
What is Prime Day?
Users who pay for the Amazon Prime membership are rewarded with an exclusive event in which they can access very attractive special offers that are often even more attractive than event offers such as Good End, Hot Sale, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the same holiday season, so it should come as no surprise that this year Amazon again surpasses the Prime Day sales of the previous year as it has done in recent years.
Normally Prime Day takes place in July, however, the current situation forced Amazon to delay the event for several weeks, but it comes just in time for users to take advantage of the event to buy Christmas gifts.
Jeff Wilke, CEO of Amazon Worldwide Consumer mentioned the following:
“In the midst of an unprecedented year, we are committed to making this the most successful Prime Day ever for small businesses. We are excited for members around the world to discover new ways to support local entrepreneurs and save big on everything they need and love.
Prime Day 2020 is the perfect opportunity for Prime members to anticipate their Christmas shopping from the comfort of their homes and have more time to spend with their family and friends during the season. “
Amazon mentioned that more than half of the products sold in its store are from third-party sellers, and mostly belong to small and medium-sized companies, so this year customers will be able to take advantage of incredible offers from these sellers.
