At the Rome Film Fest, director Alessandro Tonda presents his debut feature The Shift together with actor Adamo Dionisi, in cinemas from 5 November.
Among the films of Rome Film Festival there is also The Shift, an Italian-Belgian co-production that tells the story of two paramedics who arrive at the scene of a massacre. A young terrorist blew himself up in a school hall, there are deaths and injuries everywhere. The paramedics load an injured boy into the ambulance, unaware that he is the bomber’s accomplice and that he still has an unexploded bomb on him. The film is set in Brussels and the main roles appear Clothilde Hesme, Adam Amara and Adamo Dionisi. We interviewed the latter along with the co-writer and director Alessandro Tonda, here at his debut after years of assistant director on the series Criminal novel, Gomorrah e Suburra.
The Shift will be released in theaters on November 5th distributed by Notorious Pictures.
