A dalit woman -unchanging- 19 years died in india after being raped by a group of four men upper caste on September 14. The crime, which has been made public, has raised a wave of outrage in the country. The woman was admitted to a Delhicon hospital with several serious injuries from the attack that occurred in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh.

Four men have been arrested. The news of the young woman’s passing led to a massive protest in India across the social networks to demand Justice. Police informed local media that the four men had dragged the victim to a field in Hathras district, where they allegedly raped her. She was seriously injured in the attack.

The victim’s brother confirmed his death to the BBC, saying that no arrests had been made in the first 10 days after the incident occurred. “They left her for dead. She fought for her life for 14 days,” he said.
