Erik Gustafsson hopes he can restart his career with Montana Canadiens. The Swedish defender was acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday in exchange for the seventh round selection in 2022. He said he is happy to move to the Habs.

In the 2018-19 season where the Chicago Blackhawks performed well, when he scored 60 points in 79 games, his average score in 24 outings in this season’s “Brother’s Love” city No more than 10 minutes, and the average use time is 17 minutes and 24 seconds.
“I had a great time in Philadelphia, but I welcome this opportunity. I think I can regain my confidence and regain my demeanor in Chicago.”
The 29-year-old veteran wants to make the most of his offensive skills in his new lineup.
“What defines my game is that I like to bring ice hockey in. Jeff Petry’s offensive ability is very good, I want to play like him. I try to keep it simple on my territory and let the attack People get help when they fail head-on.
“They like urchins and continue to attack in Montreal. I think I fit this style. I’m very excited about it, and I think it will be fun.”
At the time of writing, Gustafsson has not personally spoken to Marc Bergevin. It is not clear when he will make his debut with Bleu-blanc-rouge.
