Lyne Bessette’s name is synonymous with success.
See the video above, the first part of Lyne Bessette’s interview with Dave Morissette.
She is a native of Lac-Brome and has won the title of Canadian champion six times, and represented Canada in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics.
We are talking about overstocking of resumes!
Lyne Bessette’s credibility is not just about sports. Imagine that since October 21, 2019, Brome-Missisquoi is riding the Canadian Liberal Party flag in the House of Commons of Canada.
This week, on “Dave Morissette Live” (Dave Morissette Live), this is a special “sports and politics”. Therefore, it is natural to invite former athletes to our studio!
If Lyne Bessette’s cycling can be counted as more than a dozen, then the Liberal Party MPs are also very talented in running and are young. In addition, as a runner, she started her own sports journey.
Moreover, in the past few years, several people (including her!) believe that she will leave her mark on this subject. But fate has made the water muddy…
“I’m between 10 and 21 years old. But the longer the years, the more opportunities I have to hurt myself. I was suffering from stress fractures when I was in college (she was studying in Sherbrooke).
“One day, about 20 years old, I came back from school to visit my grandmother. I told her that I wanted to take a year off, but worried about my mother’s reaction.
“Finally, my grandmother managed to get my mother to accept this project! The next summer, I then took working steps. I mow the lawn on the golf course and work as a waiter in a restaurant.
“That summer, I also bought a bicycle. I remember riding a bicycle for the first time a few days later. After 30 kilometers, I couldn’t stand it anymore. I promised myself that I would never do it again. The elderly in the city persuaded me to ride a bicycle with them and told me about a project that caught my attention: the 1995 provincial championship.
