Although this year it’s time to spend Halloween night at home, the giant Google has wanted to make the day a little more fun for its users. The seeker has taken advantage of augmented reality technology so that your Internet users can see a ghost in 3d.
Google also offers other monstrous creatures that can be viewed from any device, such as a dancing skeleton, scary pumpkins or a wizard cat. Through this option, those terrifying characters, typical of Halloween, are placed right next to the user, as if they were present, to be photographed with them.
In order to use this feature, all you need is a Android or Apple device with camera, that is compatible with Google ARCore technology, and an account on the platform. From there, Google invites you to ‘play’ to find the ghost in augmented reality.
The steps to find them are very simple: just type the word ‘Halloween’ and, when scrolling down the screen, the option ‘Summon a ghost in 3D ‘. Selecting this option automatically opens the device’s camera – provided it has previously been given access – and a surface is searched for the ghost to appear. That’s when you can take a picture with the character.
If you prefer to make a video with Halloween characters, Google will add chord and terrifying sound effects. To photograph or record another character, just type their name to make them appear.
With objects and animals
This is not the first time that Google has used this function. The seeker American had already approached virtual reality before to its users, allowing to insert objects or animals and 3D.
