One of the most valuable and arguably the most unique pieces of billionaire investor Tim Gillean’s car collection was the Pagani Huayra Roadster, which was crushed by his 17-year-old son in Dallas, Texas.

The details of the accident are unknown, but the published small video shows that the car was thoroughly damaged, one of the doors was lying on the asphalt and the airbags were opened. The Pagani Huayra Roadster was run by Gillean’s son, Gage, who survived the accident without injury and left the scene as soon as possible.

The Pagani Huayra Roadster is estimated to have cost its owner well over HUF 1 billion. The otherwise inexpensive supersport car has unique features like a purple carbon body or an interior specifically tailored to Gillean’s taste. Not incidentally, such a Huayra has been made at Pagani for nearly 1 year.

The Vay biturbo engine in the open version of the Huayra has 764 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, coupled with a seven-speed sequential transmission and rear-wheel drive. It accelerates from a standstill to a speed of 100 in 3 seconds and has a top speed of 370 km / h.
