George and Amal Clooney are particularly troubled by the corona situation. Only a few know the reason for this: Son Alexander is particularly at risk.
Where are George, 59, and Amal Clooney, 42? The previously most photographed couple in the world is as if swallowed by the earth. Is there a crisis between the Hollywood star and his beautiful wife? Rumors of a marriage crisis have been circulating for some time, and it is repeatedly assumed that the two are only a couple on paper. But it is obviously very different. The actor has now reported in an interview with “GQ” about the reason why Amal and George have hardly shown themselves outside of their home in the last few months. And it’s a lot more dramatic.
George and Amal Clooney worry about their son Alexander
The corona pandemic keeps the world in check. The number of sick and infected people continues to rise worldwide, hundreds of thousands of people have already fallen victim to the virus, the governments of the individual countries are trying to counteract this with measures and regulations – with moderate success. This is exactly the reason why George and Amal Clooney have sealed themselves off from the public for months. Because what very few knew: their son Alexander, three, is severe asthmatic and thus belongs to the high-risk group. George Clooney has now revealed to the “GQ”.
Alexander in danger
With his previous illness, a corona infection would pose a life-threatening threat to Alexander Clooney, the actor explains. In order to keep the risk of infection as low as possible, the entire family has withdrawn and is mostly among themselves. In any case, you want to prevent Alexander from contracting the virus, because that could have serious consequences for the three-year-old, the Hollywood star knows.
The interview was held via video call – and it was none other than Alexander himself who surprisingly attended the conversation. In the middle of the conversation, the three-cheese-high burst in suddenly, recalls interviewer Zach Baron. But instead of quickly evicting his son from the room, Clooney even introduced his junior Zach Baron: “Oh, hey! This is Alexander. Here is my son. Come here! Say ‘Hello!’ Say, ‘Hi Zach!’. ” After a short chat, the three-year-old hissed off again.
