The application allows you to see all the detected cases of Covid-19 in a specific area, and links to local resources. In these times, reliable information is necessary, for example, about the influx in real time in public transport, in order to be able to maintain social distance more easily. The application is suitable because it indicates how busy a bus, train or subway line is at a precise moment, thanks to the information sent in real time by Google Maps users from all over the world. The user can choose a less crowded time to travel.

Precision tools

In the last 15 years, Google Maps used 170,000 million high definition Street View images from 87 countries; the contributions of millions of companies and people who use the application, as well as data that comes from more than 10,000 local administrations, transport companies and organizations. The possibilities offered by new functionalities have recently been added: from the one that allows you to see the busiest times of 20 million places around the world, to the Live View with augmented reality.
