Michael Robinson she lost her life almost six months ago, on April 28, a victim of cancer that she resisted for a year and a half, and left as one of the great legends of Spanish journalism of the last few years. In addition to his broadcasts and comments, he is remembered for his great project on television by Canal + (and later Movistar +) with its incomparable ‘Robinson reports‘.

These programs were interviews or documentaries that unraveled the intrahistory of an athlete, team or historical moment from a very personal and close point of view. That is why, from the platform they have wanted pay homage in the best possible way, dedicating to English its own documentary in the purest ‘Robinson Report’ style.

Good, Better, Best‘will be released next Thursday, October 29 at #Vamos de Movistar + at 22:00, as announced by the platform on its social networks. “Michael, we hope we have lived up to it,” they wrote alongside the trailer, in a “tribute to who has been our dear companion for three decades.”

Those three words, (“Bueno, mejor y el mejor”, in Spanish) were a motto of Robinson’s life thanks to the inspiration of a teacher of his when he was in school.

The report will make a journey through the life of the former soccer player, journalist and analyst, starting from his childhood, continuing with his debut in the Premier and the triplet with Liverpool, passing through his stage in Osasuna until he became a myth of Spanish television.
