Nikos Gikas referred to Sloter’s contribution to the defense and which opponent is more suitable for AEK to face in the BCL semifinal.
“They fired some shots, which were mainly the product of our poor defense. We all know what help Marcus (Slaughter) offers in this part. His presence was important in defense, he helped us a lot and then we fired some shots.
Readiness is not what we wanted. No team is ready, but that does not matter. We will rely on this readiness that we have either the team or the individual.
“I think Tenerife suits us better, because our team prefers an opponent who is not good in the transition”, said the Greek guard on ERT’s camera.
