The Tuscan GP on the Mugello track started in a very drastic way, as the race was suspended at the eighth lap.
The crash that required the race to be stopped occurred when the safety car taken to the track after the start crash was about to leave. Valtteri Bottas, who was in the lead, slowed down to the last, making it difficult to overtake in the restart.
Bottas pressed the gas straight away and held the top spot. However, the quiet pace was a difficult piece for Alfa Romeo’s Antonio Giovinazz. Giovinazzi rushed Haas at a brisk pace Kevin Magnussen after. In the same rush also Carlos Sainz and Nicholas latifi crash.
There was a huge amount of scrap on the track. Haas driver Romain Grosjean did not run into others, but got his share of Kolari in the form of scrap that flew over.
The French driver was furious.

A crash at the start
Grosjean had reason to be in a hurry as he was involved in a crash at the start.

There are only 13 drivers in the race. Suspended are Latifi, Magnussen, Giovinazzi, Sainz, Verstappen and Gasly, as well as Esteban Ocon, who suffers from brake worries.
