Former Montreal Alouettes kicked Don Sweet by two women accused of sexual assault.

In 2020, two women reported to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) that they were sexually assaulted when they were both MSD students.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police immediately launched an investigation and said on Thursday that they are seeking more information and witnesses.
So far, Don Sweet faces four counts of sexual assault, two charges of sexual assault and one charge of assault. He will appear in Abbotsford Provincial Court on March 15.
The Vancouverite was the star of the Canadian Football League in the 1970s. He was a member of the Alouettes from 1972 to 1981, which enabled the team to win the Grey Cup in the legendary “Ice Bowl” in 1974 and 1977.
He then continued his career from Montreal Concorde (1982-1984), then Hamilton Tigercats (1985).
Until 2018, Sweet has been an advisor to BC Lions kickers.
