We hear about the LG Q63 months ago when the names that LG he planned to use in his midrangers of the next generation. Later, the LG Q63 appears in 3D renders made by the site 91 Mobiles and thanks to them we can have a look at your design from all angles.
In the case of a leak, it is necessary to point out that the LG Q63, for now, is nothing more than advance information. We can’t fully trust these renderings, but for the moment, it’s the best we have. But if it were to be true, it is interesting to appreciate what LG’s new design language would be for its mid-range smartphones.
LG Q63 design details
Going from less to more we can start by pointing out all those aspects of the LG Q63 design that are not outstanding at all because of how much we have already seen them repeated in other devices. For example, that on its front its full-screen design is contained by a thick lower bezel and by almost nonexistent side bezels.
In the center of the upper edge of its screen, the LG Q63 would have a discreet teardrop-shaped notch where your selfie camera would fit. On its right side edge -from a frontal perspective- your fingerprint reader would rest, which would also act as a lock / power button for the display.
Already on the left edge would rest its volume control buttons and a fourth button that, for now, we can only assume that it would be to summon Google Assistant. Finally, on its lower edge, we would see a USB-C charging port, a speaker grill and a standard 3.5mm audio port.
Then we come to the distinctive feature of the LG Q63: its rear multi-camera lenses are nucleated within a rectangular compartment.
It seems that all the innovation of the midrangers It has been reduced to different pieces of hardware and different geometric figures to use as compartments but we cannot deny that it is a detail that allows them to stand out from the competition. Or given the rapid adoption of competitors, at least, it would allow us to distinguish the LG Q63 from its predecessors.
An LG Q63 appears in 3D renderings and apart from the mention that its screen would have a diagonal of 6.5 inches the rest of its technical specifications are a mystery. We are not surprised given that if we have to rely on the LG Q61, the Q63 would be announced in May next year.
