The Fiat Tipo is one of the compacts with the best value for money market, but with a history of four years since it was launched I needed an update so as not to fall behind the competition. And so it has been done.

The changes affect all bodies, that is, the four, five-door and the familiar Station Wagon, although a totally new variant appears in the range that is crossover type.

From the front, the large logo with the brand’s letters in capital letters is striking in all cases. presiding over the grill to replace the hitherto traditional shield. Along with this, the bumpers change, the headlights become Full LED front and rear and are introduced new colors and wheels, which can be 16 or 17 inches.

Inside, the steering wheel is renewed, now smaller and sportier, the seats and the instrument panel becomes digital with a 7-inch TFT screen. In the center of the dashboard there is a beautiful 10.25 ”screen for the fifth generation Uconnect multimedia system.

Fiat Tipo Cross

Of the new Tipo range, for which the launch date and prices are still unknown, highlights the new crossover variant on the five-door body. As you can guess from the Cross designation, it clearly differs from the other versions by its greater height (7 cm counting the roof bars) and the lower protectors around the perimeter, with dark wheel arches in combination with aluminum-colored trims.

Regarding the mechanical supply, All engines have been improved to make them more efficient and performance. In principle you can choose between a propeller turbocharged gasoline of 1 liter of cubic capacity and 100 horses power and two 1.6-liter Multijet diesel, one with 95 and the other with 130 hp.

Regarding the structure of the range, there will be two orientations, Life for all bodies, with the Type, City Life and Life equipment levels, y Cross only for the new “jacket” variant, which will be subdivided into City Cross and Cross levels.
