The International Automobile Federation (FIA) on Monday approved the three qualifying races of Formula One that will be held this season.
This additional race will be held on Saturday, instead of the third free practice race after the second quarter, the distance will reach 100 kilometers. The result of the race will determine the starting line for the Grand Prix.
Nevertheless, regular qualifying matches will still be held in the usual way on Friday to determine the starting order of qualifying.
The team will not have the opportunity to force a pit stop in this new race, and the three pilots on the podium will earn points according to the following scale: 3-2-1.
