The rumors turned out to be true, with Haas preparing for a full pilot change by 2021, first Romain Grosjean and then teammate Kevin Magnussen also announced that he would leave the U.S. squadron by the end of the year.

2020 will be my last Formula One season with the Haas team.
I’ve had a great time here for the past four years, I’m happy to look back on this trip.
It was a really enjoyable challenge to compete with a brand new team, which enriched me with a lot of experience, I also developed a lot as a racer.
I would like to thank Gene, Günther and the entire racing team for their loyalty and trust over the last four years!
I am still working on my plans for the future, I will announce this later.
There are six more races ahead of us this season, I’ll give it my all to finish nicely.
Thank you all for your support!
After the two competitors, the team itself confirmed the news:
Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean will part ways with Haas F1 Team at the conclusion of the 2020 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.https://t.co/4sQOzsnTzW
