Google Photos launched in 2015 with photo/video storage, sharing, and more features.
Google Photos is an online photo and video storage platform that has grown over the past eight years to include features like photo sharing. There are many useful features that you should try out if you’re using Google Photos. For example, you can search for words in images, make your next purchase from a photo, hide specific people and dates from Memories, make a scrapbook or canvas print, and edit the sky. To search for words in images, you can enter the phrase into the search function and Google Photos will recognize the words in your photos. To make your next purchase from a photo, you can run your Google photos through Google Lens to find similar products. You can also hide people and places on your mobile device or desktop by going to Google Photos settings and choosing Hide people & pets or Hide dates. To make a scrapbook or canvas print, you can go to the Print Shop in the mobile version or desktop version of Google Photos. Finally, if you’re a Google One subscriber, you can use the Sky feature to adjust the appearance of the sky in your photos. With Google Photos, you can make the most of your photos and videos.
