Quebecker Lance Stroll entered the third and final stage of qualifying on Saturday, but it took him a while and he will finish tenth in the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in Italy.
Inevitably, Stroll will have a lot of work to do to make it into the top three at Imola on Sunday. Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes (Mercedes) won “pole position” together, leading Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen. Two drivers.
In an interesting result, Toronto native Nicholas Latifi (usually tied for second with Williams) competed in the second quarter and will be ranked 14th.
