Donald Trump’s campaign withdrew its lawsuit against the outcome of the Michigan elections on Thursday after wrongly stating that the certification of votes in Wayne County, one of the most populous in the state, has been disapproved. “This morning we dropped our lawsuit in Michigan as a direct result of achieving the remedy we sought: preventing the Wayne County election from being prematurely certified before residents can be sure that every legal vote has been counted and every vote illegal. it has been discarded, ”Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani said in a statement.
Also this Thursday, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger confirmed that after a recount of votes Biden is “without a doubt” the winner. Raffensperger announced that this Friday the State will certify the victory of the Democrat. Biden’s victory leaves a map on which Democrats have flipped five states won by Trump in 2016: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona.
