In an interview with the press service of Red Bull Racing, the team racer Alex Albon commented on the past stage in Turkey and spoke about the expectations from the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Q: In Turkey, you spent one of your strongest weekends in Formula 1. How do you assess it?
Alex Elbon: Nice weekend for me. We tried a lot on my car, which made it more predictable. The team also looked strong enough, especially at the beginning of the weekend. It is a pity that the result was not very high, but there were a lot of positive things at the Turkish stage.

Q: How fun or challenging is it to fly a car in poor conditions and with limited visibility?
Alex ElbonA: It was great to have a different experience, but it’s easy to make a mistake in such difficult conditions. I had to adapt to the situation, find limits and experiment with different trajectories, but it was fun.

Q: The RB16 car has become more comfortable to drive, and you know the track in Bahrain very well. How much are you looking forward to the next race?
Alex ElbonA: We had a really big weekend in Turkey and I am sure we are moving in the right direction. From my side, the situation is changing for the better, and I am satisfied with the work of the car on the simulator. Now I am looking forward to coming to Bahrain to see what results we can achieve.
