If the gate to Dwayne Johnson’s mansion doesn’t open, what happens? That the actor gets out of the car, takes it apart with his hands, gets back into the car and goes away.
Everyone gets angry at something, right?
You too will have railed against the oven that did not heat, the machine that did not start or the blender that did not blend. And perhaps some violence against the poor and perhaps innocent inanimate object escaped you as well. Did you give him a slap? A kick? A warhead? It can happen to anyone, we are human.
It also happened to Dwayne Jonhson who had to leave the house to go to work on the set of Red Notice. As always, the actor approached the gate of his property, but he didn’t want to know how to open it. There had been a power failure and it had lost electrical contact, so it was not responding to the remote.
Dear gate, sorry, but you are looking for it.
The Rock was in a hurry and could not wait for the technician, so he got out of the car and tugged at the grating with his bare hands, disassembled the electronic opening guides and unhinged it.
He writes it himself on his Instagram account by posting the photo of the “corpse”.
Not my best time, but a man has to go to work. We had a power outage due to a severe storm which prevented the gate from opening. I have tried to bypass the hydraulic opening system as I normally do when it is not working, but not this time. I made a few phone calls to find out how long the technician would be arriving, but I couldn’t wait 45 minutes. At that moment, there were hundreds of people from the crew waiting for me to start the business day. I did what I had to do. I pushed, pulled and unhinged the gate by myself. I pulled it completely out of the wall, cut the steel bars off the opening and threw them into the lawn. My security greeted the technician and welders an hour later, who were apparently “incredulous and a little frightened” by how I had ripped him out. Not my best time, but I had to go to work. And I’m 100% ready to become Black Adam!
