The final fight between Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf and their employer ProSieben was about 30 minutes of broadcasting time.

On Tuesday evening (October 6th) Joko Winterscheidt (41) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (37) had to prove their game skills one last time in the season finale in “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben”. After Heufer-Umlauf amazed everyone with a basketball throw in the successful final of the show on September 22nd, he was supposed to win the final with a basketball throw from 14 meters. In the games it was a matter of fighting for seven basketballs for the final throw.

In game one, the duo had to tackle mini-tasks that had to be solved faster from time to time. The two showed a good sense of time and won the first game. In the second game, ProSieben got Elyas M’Barek (38). It was a question of guessing serial melodies that were performed by three guest musicians in a special way, for example with a singing saw. Series junkie M’Barek was able to use his expert knowledge and won.

Basketball doesn’t always bring luck to the duo

Michi Beck (52) and Smudo (52) then competed in a drift duel against the two moderators. The teams had to let TV screens, garbage cans and other objects slide off the car roofs as far as possible by hurling the cars around. The moderators had more swing talent and earned the next ball. In the fourth game, the duo had to maneuver a candle through a course without it going out too often. With good teamwork, they earned another ball. Janine Michaelen (38) and Simon Gohsejohann (44) had no chance in a backward Olympics, Joko and Klaas also won this victory. In another game that didn’t bring them any luck, the two had to watch clips from their daily work and then answer questions about them.

In the final they had five basketballs at their disposal. But Heufer-Umlauf emphasized several times that his litter back then was a stroke of luck – he was proved right. He did not pocket a ball and thus defeated the duo. Now a big challenge is waiting: the moderators have to comment on the European Championship qualifier of the U21 national team between Germany and Bosnia-Herzegovina live on ProSiebenMaxx on Tuesday.
