The appearance of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice and one of the most beloved faces in the franchise today, is an open secret. He is one of the most anticipated among the new characters of The Mandalorian, and will be played by Rosario Dawson.

Although Disney did not comment on it, a leak showed an image of Dawson as Ahsoka Tano. The material comes from Hasbro, which has Star Wars among its many licenses to make toys.

Hasbro is preparing Ahsoka Tano’s collectible lightsaber, which is sure to go on sale in the Northern Hemisphere by Christmas. The product box, whose full name is Star Wars: The Black Series Ahsoka Tano Force FX Elite Lightsaber, displays a picture of the character. It is not a photograph obtained from the series, but an illustration that is clearly inspired by the face of Rosario Dawson.

His image was not included in the official posters, so this is the first time Dawson has been seen in his new role. The choice of the actress was not very complicated for Disney: for several years, fans of Star Wars they wanted me to be in Ahsoka Tano’s shoes.

“I will be very excited that (his appearance in The Mandalorian) is confirmed at some point. It would be a million percent because of the fans, “the actress declared in April. Those dreams seem to have finally come true.

Ahsoka Tano won’t be the only new face of season two of The Mandalorian. In May, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, will take the role of Boba Fett in the new episodes.
