According to Variety, quoted by news.ro, Disney will launch “Mulan” on September 4, at a special price. The company will do a test to determine how many customers will want to watch the feature film that was scheduled to be released exclusively in theaters.

Unlike content available on Disney +, “Mulan” will not be available directly to subscribers. Customers in the US and other territories must pay $ 29.99 to rent the film, in addition to the $ 6.99 monthly subscription.

In markets where Disney + is not available, “Mulan” will run in theaters.

Originally scheduled to premiere on March 27, “Mulan” was expected to be one of Disney’s most important releases this year.

Due to the pandemic, the release of the film was rescheduled several times, most recently, Disney removing the film from the calendar.

The film is directed by Niki Caro. The main role is played by Crystal Liu. Mulan is a young woman disguised as a man to take the place of her elderly father in the army.
