The Dynamo Kiev has detected six positives for covid-19 in its squad before traveling to Barcelona to play the match corresponding to the third day of the Champions League.

Among those affected are two players who came out in the starting eleven in the Champions League match held last week in Hungary against Ferencvaros (2-2): Nikolái Shaparenko Y Alexandr Karaváev.

They also tested positive Gueorgui Tsitaishvili, Denis Garmash, the danish Mikkel Duelund and romanian Tudor Baluta, as reported by the Ukrainian club on its website.

In addition, the tests detected the coronavirus in the assistant coach, Emil karas, and four other members of Dinamo’s technical team.

All the patients are in perfect condition and have been confined, says the club.

Dinamo, which has a point in two Champions League games, played a league game against Dnipró-1 (1-2) on Saturday, a result that allows them to remain at the top of the table.

In early October another Ukrainian team, the Shakhtar Donetsk, also detected positives in a dozen of their players before traveling to Spain to face Real Madrid in the Champions League, which they defeated (2-3) after a great first half.
