Denmark is increasing restrictions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
In the Danish capital, Copenhagen and Odense, the limit for public gatherings is reduced to 50 per hundred. Restaurant and café opening hours are also limited.
The new restrictions are valid until September 22.
In recent weeks, new cases of infection have occurred across the country, and the number of patients receiving hospitalization over the weekend increased dramatically.

Borders are being crossed
21 Danish municipalities exceed the current limit of 20 infections per 100,000 inhabitants.
– The municipality of Copenhagen currently has 40.3 infections per 100,000 inhabitants, says the mayor of Copenhagen Frank Jensen.
In Odense, the situation is even worse, with more than 60 per 100,000 inhabitants in the municipality.
In Danish hospitals, developments are being monitored with great care. Hospitals are well prepared so far, but even the worst is being prepared.
According to current data, the number of people living with coronavirus in Denmark is 18,113. There are a total of 632 deaths in the country.
