As far as brand competition is concerned, players have performed differently in a shrinking market. Still, the order wasn’t completely upset: Toyota and Dacia made a lot of progress in the Top 10, and Opel fell a staggering amount, but the others more or less retained their position. However, the advantage of Suzuki has practically run out: they sold less than 400 cars more than the second-place Toyota, while last year two and a half (!) As many Suzuki found owners as Toyota.

However, this was not clear: Suzuki sold 54 per cent, Škoda almost 19 per cent and Renault almost 24 per cent fewer cars, so Opel’s 58.5 per cent drop is not at all glaring – another question is what the result was.
