“It is the greatest danger to international peace and security. It promotes conflicts, unconventional wars and trade and imposes severe unilateral and squandering coercive measures, in its arms race, essential resources for the sustainable development of our peoples, “said the Cuban minister.

He also pointed out that Washington refuses to cooperate in confronting the multiple crises generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and it ignores important agreements on the environment, disarmament and arms control, while abandoning international forums such as the World Health Organization (WHO), UNESCO or the Human Rights Council.

Rodríguez also denounced that the current US administration has raised its hostility against Cuba at “qualitatively superior” levels by intensifying the economic, commercial and financial blockade it applies and attacking medical cooperation on the island and the governments that request it.

“He interferes in the internal affairs of dozens of UN member states and threatens those he accuses of influencing their corrupt electoral system. fear and lies The novel weapons are repeated in their dishonest media and disinformation strategy, “said the Cuban Foreign Minister.

The “Deal of the Century & rdquor;

The offensive of the head of diplomacy of the Caribbean island against his northern neighbor also included a criticism of his performance in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which in his opinion prevents a “broad, just and lasting” solution, as the UN has historically demanded, and instead proposes the so-called “Deal of the Century”.
