Valtteri Bottas and Tiffany Cromwell have been dating for about a year now, and it looks like the relationship between the Finnish Formula 1 racer and the Australian cyclist is progressing well.
At least Tiffany herself told about this in an interview with the Sunday Mail newspaper, published in Adelaide, where her parents live. Her father, Mike Cromwell, even shared this interview on social media.
“Of course, my life has changed, because Formula 1 – a completely different world, but I really like that next to me Valtteri, – said Tiffany. – He understands what requirements the sport of the highest achievements puts before you. It’s great that we are able to find the right balance between our races. “
According to Cromwell, when both participants in a relationship are high-level professional athletes, mutual support becomes a very important factor, because without this, harmony cannot be achieved, since such people, as a rule, are characterized by selfishness.
“I have someone who supports me, who believes in me. I think all this helps me to find additional motivation for cycling, ”said Tiffany.
The pandemic affected the world of cycling, as well as other sports, so for a long time the competition was not held, but in September Cromwell entered the start of the World Championship stage in Italy, and this weekend performs in Belgium.
Since now Tiffany is often at Formula 1 races, she also said that the Mercedes team welcomes her very warmly and cordially.
“Valtteri dreams of winning the league title, but Lewis Hamilton is, of course, a very strong opponent. And yet, the struggle continues. And the fact that I also somehow participate in all this, because Valtteri and I are together on this wave, adds a special dimension to life, ”she added.
Due to the restrictions associated with the pandemic, Cromwell has not been to Australia for a long time, and so far she has no opportunity to go there: “It looks like we will spend Christmas in Finland, but I still hope that I can fly to homeland, and it will happen soon enough. “
