From the club they launched a clear message so that the supporters do not approach the stadium not even to encourage their players from outside.

More than six months have passed since the last time Boca went out onto the La Bombonera playing field. It was on March 10, in a win against Independent Medellin for the Copa Libertadores. And it will be against Libertad, this Tuesday, from 9:30 p.m., when he will return home to seek to advance to the round of 16 of that same tournament.

In between, he only played two games. And Brandsen 805’s lawn practices had to be postponed due to the weekend rains. But with everything ready, from the club they made them a special request to your fans in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

Through official social networks, Boca asked supporters to avoid going near the stadium to make their presence felt, beyond the fact that it is impossible to enter because it is played behind closed doors.

The message came in response to the fact that fans were calling themselves to give a “welcome” to the squad, prior to entering the stadium.

In the club they took note of this and decided to ask publicly for another type of action. The rest will be borne by the City authorities. “Boca returns to the Bombonera and this time we have to make it beat from home”, was the message with a call to conscience.

For the appointment, the club also made modifications. First, for health reasons, he expanded the area of the substitute benches and dismantled two of the VIP boxes that were to the side.

He took out the glasses and that created more space for local and visiting footballers to have the regulatory distance between them.

Also installed sanitizing tunnels in all entrances to the stadium and changing rooms, with columns for the sale of gel alcohol and also special care in the area where the warm-up is to be carried out.

During this time of pandemic, work was carried out on the playing field, also supervised by the people of AFA as a result of the upcoming Qualifying match, and a complete change of seats of all the stalls was carried out in front of the boxes, where already it had been decided to remove the acrylic at the beginning of the year.
